How Dropmatico works: your first drop
Dropmatico is a browser-native image optimizer. Every edit, filter, and export runs inside your browser memory with no uploads, no accounts, and no queue. This article walks through what actually happens from the moment you drop a file.
The dual-core engine
Dropmatico ships with two specialized engines for two different jobs. The Single Image Editor takes one master asset and transforms it into a distribution pack across every social platform. The Bulk Image Processor takes up to 16 images and formats them all to a single target dimension in parallel. You pick the engine based on the job, not the tool.
Your first drop in three steps
Open dropmatico.com in any modern browser, no sign-up required. Drag and drop an image onto the canvas or click to browse. Pick your platform presets or a custom size, then hit export. The Master Set ZIP downloads directly to your machine, pre-sorted by format and platform.
What happens under the hood
When you drop a file, Dropmatico loads it into your browser's memory using standard Canvas and File APIs. Every subsequent edit (crop, filter, compression) runs locally on your CPU. The file never uploads to our servers, never appears in a database, and never transits a third party. When you close the tab, the image clears from memory.
What you get back
A structured ZIP file organized into folders by format (JPEG, PNG, WebP) and platform (Instagram, LinkedIn, Dribbble, and so on). Every file is named consistently so you can drag it directly into a scheduler, CMS, or marketplace upload without any sorting step in between.
